Final year...

The pressure of the final year, of the supposed best three years of your live, is some-what overwhelming. On the one hand, you want to enjoy all the moments you can with your friends, you want to embrace all the opportunities that come across your way, but on the other side, you have a big question facing and daunting your every-move: what after?

What I think we forget (and I forget) is that we aren't supposed to know exactly the way things are going to unfold. Sure, life would be easy-going and beautiful if we knew the way everything was going to happen, like we have known for the past twenty years: primary and secondary school, sixth form, university... with a couple of holidays in between. What happens when the 'power' is placed on our hands? What happens when we are the ones calling the shots?

What happens when most of the decisions you make this year are going to have an impact on the rest of your live? Then you are forgetting that every decision you have previously made, also led to where you are today.

Life is what you make of it; it's what you allow it to be. We have two options: to limit ourselves or challenge ourselves to become even better. Final year, will undoubtably see multiple job rejections, some poor life decisions, all-nighters doing assignments and some incredible moments spent with your friends. Final year is more than a year to show-case all your academic abilities that you have certainly acquired during your degree, it's about allowing yourself to blossom and to really push yourself forward. It's about remembering where you started, where you are and feeling empowered at the world of possibilities that lay in-front of you.

It's the year of faith.
